Elon Musk has officially been subpoenaed in by Johnny Depp is his legal battle with Amber Heard. Musk is being asked to turn over all communications, including text messages, with the actress on or about the time of her alleged domestic violence incident with the actor.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Depp filed a subpoena to Musk to produce and protect all items that are associated with Amber Heard.
The information listed in the documents to turn over include, "conversations, telephone calls, letters, emails, memoranda, reports, telegraphs, faxes, exhibits, drawings, text messages, and any other documents which confirm or relate to the written or verbal exchange." also any electronically stored information including, "electronic, digital, or any other recorded material whatsoever, including but not limited to, any notes...videotapes, affidavits, statements, papers, files, forms, data, tapes, printouts, letters, reports, communications, contracts, agreements, telegrams, records, financial records, applications, correspondence, diaries, calendars."
The request specifically asks for communications around the May 21, 2016, domestic violence incident, where Amber claims Johnny Depp assaulted her in their home.
"All communications relating to allegations of physical abuse or domestic violence committed by Mr. Depp or Ms. Heard," it reads.
As we've reported, several witnesses have testified to seeing Musk enter Depp and Heard's home around the time of the incident.

Trinity Esparza, who worked for the apartment building, was asked specifically by Depp's attorneys in a deposition about Elon Musk.
"Going back to when you encountered Mr. Musk in the Eastern Columbia building in May of 2016. I think you said it was around 9:00 in the morning when you were at work; is that right?
"Yes." she answered. "He looked tired or like he just woke up." she continued.
This testimony is important to Depp's team because they are trying to establish that Elon Musk and Amber Heard had a relationship prior to her divorce from Johnny. This specific date she says Johnny was "out of the country."
Esparza also testified to seeing Musk at the building in Los Angeles "many times."
Alejandro Romero, a security guard, also testified to Musk and Amber's relationship and the 'Tesla' founders' presence in the building. When asked about a gentleman that came to the building to see Amber's identity he said, "Elon Musk."
He explained, Musk visited the building "several times a week" and it was before the May 2106 domestic violence incident. He claims he physically key fobbed Musk up to the penthouse to visit Amber.

He described, "Well, she used to call me telling me her friend was coming and to give him access to the garage and into the building and send him up to the penthouse. And then after probably a couple visits, Amber provided with a garage remote and a fob."
The security guard even recalled telling a co-worker how bad he thought the situation was, saying, "I told her like -- we were talking about it, about Elon Musk, and I told her it was really bad that I saw Elon Musk going inside the penthouse when Jonny Depp was not home."
Elon has maintained his relationship with Amber didn't begin until after her divorce with Johnny Depp, saying in a statement, “Elon and Amber didn’t start seeing each other until May 2016, and even then it was infrequent. Their relationship didn’t become romantic until some time later.”
It's unclear if Musk will comply with the subpoena.
Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation after she wrote an op-ed piece in the Washington Post seemingly calling Depp a wife beater. Amber has responded Depp was abusive on multiple occasions and he is simply trying to silence her with the legal case.
