Ellen Page Slam's Chris Pratt's Church for Anti-LGBTQ Views

By TheBlast Staff

Ellen Page is ripping Chris Pratt for his ties to a church with anti-LGBTQ views after the star spoke on his religion while promoting his new movie.

Pratt sat down with Stephen Colbert on the "Late Show" to plug upcoming movie, "The Lego Movie 2," and spoke on how his faith helps keep him balanced in Hollywood.

He also mentioned followed a diet known as the "Daniel Fast," a religious partial fast popular among Evangelical Protestants. He heard about the diet from his pastor, as Pratt attends Zoe Church LA, which was inspired by the celebrity backed megachurch, Hillsong.

Pratt is part of a group of celebrities who publicly support the trendy L.A. church scene, and is joined by stars like Justin and Hailey Bieber, and Kourtney Kardashian.

In the past, the L.A. church has made it clear they welcome gay parishioners, but they do not encourage homosexuality or the LGBTQ culture. Page, who is well aware of the church's views, went to Twitter after Pratt's appearance to drop a suggestion.

"Oh. K. Um. But this church is infamous anti lgbtq so maybe address that too?" the Juno star asked. Pratt has not responded since the challenge by Page, but her tweet has racked up 16,000 retweets and 87,000 likes.
