In new photos, obtained by The Blast, Ellen and Kevin were photographed having a one-on-one meeting at the Rosewood Miramar Beach, in Montecito, CA — after the comedian recently supported the host who is facing backlash for negative treatment of her show staff.
As you can see, it appears the two are having somewhat of a serious discussion.

In the photos, the pair sipped on a glass of wine as they had a lengthy discussion.
“The internet has become a crazy world of negativity….we are falling in love with people’s downfall,” Kevin Hart recently wrote in defense of DeGeneres.
He continued, “It’s honestly sad…When did we get here? I stand by the ones that I know and that I love. Looking forward to the future where we get back to loving one another.”
“It’s crazy to see my friend go thru what she’s going thru publicly. I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f–king planet,” he wrote in early August.

Kevin Hart might also be a great person to ask advice too about how to handle a headline-generating scandal. As you know, Kevin has had his fair share of media frenzies, including a sex tape scandal, where he was forced to apologize to his wife on camera — after he was videotaped with another woman.
The comedian also came under fire after past homophobic tweets resurfaced during his preparation to host the Oscars. At the time, Hart stepped down from the role, but it was DeGeneres who had him on her show and pushed him to reconsider hosting.

At this point, Ellen is still employed by Warner Bros. and there is no sign of her quitting the successful talk show. But, the show is still under investigation for the possible workplace abuse and alleged racism.
In the photos, it does look like the pair is having a serious discussion, and not just having a drink on a beautiful Saturday.
Ellen DeGeneres addressed the allegations saying she was “disappointed to learn” about the situation.
She continued, “As someone who was judged and nearly lost everything for just being who I am, I truly understand and have deep compassion for those being looked at differently, or treated unfairly, not equal, or – worse – disregarded.”
The investigation into the toxic work environment in ongoing.
