Charlamagne asked Sheeran about one of the tracks on the album, "Remember the Name," where he sings, "Watch how the lyrics in this song might get twisted/My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick."

The lyric pretty much confirms that the star and Cherry Seaborn, did in fact get married.

As for why he's including the lyric now, Sheeran said, "It was actually before me and Cherry got married, and I knew that we'd be married by the point that the song came out," he explained."

However, he figured since rumors were rampant about their marriage anyways, why not let the cat outta the bag.

Outlets had already reported that Sheeran and Seaborn tied the knot in a top-secret ceremony right before Christmas at his Suffolk estate in front of a small group of friends and family.

The two had announced their engagement the previous year, in January 2018.

"Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well," Sheeran announced in an Instagram post.

Reflecting on married life to Charlamagne, Sheeran still can't believe how lucky he is.

"I constantly wake up every day with Cherry and I'm just like, 'Why the f---k are you with me? You could literally be with whoever you wanted, and you've chosen me. And I'm saying all of the things that I think are wrong with me, but you still want to be with me. And I just find that amazing."

Congratulations!
