By Jeff Mazzeo

The most competitive showdown during the premiere of “Dancing With The Stars,” didn't go down on the dance floor... it happened when Hannah Brown sat next to Ray Lewis and tried to get him to show support for UA.

As you know, Brown’s nickname is Alabama Hannah because she won the title of Miss Alabama, and she went the University of Alabama.

If there’s one thing they love in Alabama, it's football.

Naturally, Hannah is making it her mission to turn NFL Hall of Fame member Ray Lewis into a Crimson Tide fan and she tried to trick Lewis into saying the iconic slogan “Roll Tide.”

“It’s my boy Ray and roll tide,” Hannah said while filming the whole situation for her Instagram.

“I ain’t rolling no Tide,” Lewis quickly responded.

That’s when Hannah tried to use his emotions against him.

“My daughter at Roll Tide,” Ray told Hannah who quickly said, “do it for your daughter.”

But Ray never gave up on the field and he was not going to give in the the ‘Bama fandom.

“Roll Diaymon!” Lewis said as they both erupted in laughter. Diaymon is the name of Ray’s daughter who is currently attending Hannah’s alma mater.

Ray Lewis attended and played football at the University of Miami ... and a Hurricane alum giving a "Roll Tide" wouldn't be widely accepted back in Florida.

In his sophomore season, Lewis earned first-team All-American honors playing for the Hurricanes. So let’s just say he is a really proud of his school.

While most fans will be watching to see who wins the dancing competition, others will be glued to their phones as Hannah continues her mission to convert the big man.
