Drake Was Front and Center During the Toronto Raptors Victory Parade

By Gary Trock

After overshadowing much of the Toronto Raptors' championship season with his on and off-court antics, the Drake decided to step aside and let the NBA team have their moment during the big parade -- just kidding!

October's Very Own was definitely the man of the hour during the Raptor's parade Monday morning in Toronto.

Drake flew the team back to the Great White North on his private jet after taking them to party all weekend in Las Vegas.

The "God's Plan" rapper live streamed the festivities while on top of the victory bus, and was reveling in the joy of helping Toronto secure its first NBA Championship in franchise history.

Drake was not clutching the championship trophy, as he was over the weekend, but was super excited while congratulating all the hoopers on the big win.

Drake's celebration train has been days long, as the rapper also released two new tracks in honor of the Raptors.

"Omertà" and "Money in the Grave" featuring Rick Ross dropped Saturday morning, and the OVO rapper labeled them "The Best in the World Pack."

There's a good chance he will perform his new hits during the Raptors parade, as it has been announced that he will take the stage for 4 songs at the end of the victory route.

Even though Drake has been flying high, he still remains grounded as a dedicated father to his son, Adonis.

On Father's Day he shared a finger painting, which we can only assume was painted by the child.

The painting read "PAPA," and the hip-hop star proudly shared his son's work of art while wishing everyone a "Happy Father's Day."
