Drake helped set a new record when he teamed up with a popular video game streamer to amass an audience over half a million strong.
Drizzy logged on Twitch Wednesday night to play Battle Royale in Fortnite with Tyler "Ninja" Blevins. Fortnite is a 3rd person, arcade style, co-op survival game. It's become an insanely popular game, and when Drake announced that he would be putting in a session with Ninja, they quickly gained an audience of 500,000 viewers.
In between Ninja and Drake claiming multiple victories, the "God's Plan" rapper admitted he was eating pizza while playing, and was then asked if he considered pineapple a viable topping. Well everyone, Drake has now confirmed that pineapple is an acceptable pizza topping!
During the Fortnite stream, the two were also joined by Travis Scott and NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster as they continued to rack up wins.
All in all, they had a little over 600,000 people watching, which crushed Twitch's previous record of 380,000.
