Drake put his stamp on approval on “Euphoria” while walking the red carpet of the HBO premiere, but it’s leaving some fans worried he’s put his curse on the upcoming series.
The musician, who’s actually an executive producer on the HBO show, looked sharp as he hit the red carpet and was all-in on throwing his support behind his project.
Putting on a happy face alongside “Euphoria” stars like Zendaya, Storm Reid, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney, it’s fun to see Drake put on his producer hat — but if it doesn’t do well, you know who to blame.
The rapper’s “Drake Curse” is well-known in the sports world. Most recently after publicly supporting boxer Anthony Joshua before his devastating loss.
Drake has also been a huge topic of conversation during the NBA finals as the Golden State Warriors take on the Toronto Raptors. As Drake sat courtside and watched his beloved Raptors lose Game 2, Golden State players Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant heckled the musician for the loss.
Even “Jeopardy!” champ James Holzhauer jokingly blamed Drake for his recent devastating L on the trivia TV show.
“Euphoria” follows a group of teens as they deal with the struggles of sexuality, drug use and violence.
We’ll see if the “Drake Curse” sticks when the HBO series premieres on June 16.
