Tyler The Creator has broken his silence over Drake's unfortunate experience while performing at the musician's Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and it seems he taking some responsibility.

Tyler addressed the situation on Twitter, saying, "I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE FKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE! BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW."

He continued, "SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASS*** WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT F*** WITH THAT."

The comments come in response to a rare moment in Drakes's career where he was literally booed off of a stage.

Fans who attended the Flog Gnaw Carnival were expecting a surprise performance since Tyler first announced the festival's lineup.

Posters for the event featured question marks instead of naming the actual headliner.

It seemed the crowd was expecting Frank Ocean, who is Tyler’s former bandmate in Odd Future, even though he hadn't performed at the festival in the past.

Instead, they got Drake, and you would think one of the biggest stars of all time would be a great addition to any lineup. The crowd was not having it.

Drake performed nine songs, but near the end of his set, he asked the crowd whether or not they wanted him to continue, they chanted straight up booed him.

“We want Frank!” the crowd started chanting.

So Drake responded, “I’m here for you tonight. If you want to keep going, I will keep going tonight. What’s up? If you want to keep going, I will keep going tonight.”

The booing continued to echo through the venue, so Drake ended things, saying, “Well, look...It’s been love. I love y’all. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you for having me.”

On that note, Camp Flag Gnaw sourly ended.

The event held at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, featured acts like Tyler the Creator, Solange, DaBaby, 21 Savage, FKA twigs, Juice WRLD and Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) and Earl Sweatshirt.

It seems, this morning, that Tyler understands that the crowd may have not been the perfect venue for a Drake headliner, but also thinks it is disrespectful the way the crowd handled the situation.

He tweeted another message to Drake, "AGAIN, THANK YOU DRAKE! ( IM F***ING PISSED HOTLINE BLING WAS NEXT THATS MY F***ING SHIT IM GONNA PLAY THAT IN THE SHOWER RIGHT NOW)."

The night wasn't all negative, several other performances made waves including YG who had his own special guest make a surprise appearance.

Stormy Daniels Does 'F* Donald Trump' With YG

Twitter

“My name is Stormy Fing Daniels, and I am the reason that Donald Trump is f*d.” YG's guest was no other than Stormy Daniels herself.

The rapper brought the legendary porn start to the stage to help with his hit song, "F*** Donald Trump."

While onstage, YG asked Stormy, “You f****d Donald Trump?!” She replied, “I wouldn’t call it f*****g, I just laid there.” The crowd went wild as YG blasted out the song's lyrics.

The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival is known for its surprise and entertaining performances, including Kanye West and Kid Cudi performing inside a giant glass box, but Tyler is most likely on the phone to Frank Ocean today booking the appearance for next year.
