Drake’s baby mama is back in the rapper’s hometown of Toronto, days after the two celebrated their son’s birthday together.
Sophie Brussaux, mother to Drake’s son Adonis, posted photos of herself on Instagram. She tagged the photos being taken at York University in Canada. Brussaux looked fly as she posed in designer duds outside.
She was attending an Urban Economy Forum where they discussed a sustainable urban economy.
Earlier this month, Brussaux was at Drake’s Toronto mansion where they celebrated Adonis’ 2nd birthday. The two have always kept things peaceful and appear to co-parent successfully.
Brussaux is an artist who lives in Paris and enjoys painting celebrity portraits. Brussaux has shown off her artwork of Angelina Jolie, Angela Bassett, Amy Winehouse, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michelle Obama and Beyoncé. Brussaux also paints other things besides celebrities.
Brussaux is also quite the fighter and showed off her skills recently.
Back in March, Brussaux showed up to one of Drake’s Paris concerts and was given the VIP treatment. Brussaux appeared with a friend and has a VIP pass hanging around her neck. She has not spoken publicly much about her relationship with Drake after it was revealed the rapper had a son.
The rapper talked about his son on his album “Scorpion”. On his track “Emotionless” he rapped, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid / From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / Until you staring at your seed, you could never relate.”
He went deeper on “March 14” where the lyrics included, ““Yesterday morning was crazy / I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe / That shit is in stone, sealed and signed / She’s not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine / Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time / Shit, we only met two times. Two times / And both times were nothing like the new times / Now it’s rough times/ I’m out here on front lines just tryna make sure that I see him sometimes. It’s breaking my spirit / A single father, I hate when I hear it.”
Brussaux recently shared a throwback of her posing in front of the mirror in a sleek black dress, showing off her baby bump. She captioned the post, “Today, it’s been 2 years I was having 50-sec contractions every 3 min for 24 hours man…all worth it.”
She added, “Only a handful of weeks left, over 200lbs. Looks like I’m carrying twins, but I swear I’m not.”
