Dr. Dre is denying his estranged wife's allegation that he 'tore up' the couple's prenup, several years after they got married, claiming it was a legal agreement and she even had her own lawyer negotiate the deal.

According to new reports, the legendary rapper is claiming he did NOT tear up the prenuptial agreement with his wife, Nicole Young, and he is also saying he never said he was ashamed of his actions surrounding the deal.

We broke the story, his wife filed legal documents on Tuesday, claiming Dr. Dre ripped up the couple's prenup right in front of her as a 'grand gesture' of confessing his love.

In the documents, obtained by The Blast, Nicole said "I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner."

She continued, "Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre, I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course, with the help of Andre's team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement very shortly before our marriage."

Nicole's statements regarding the use of Dr. Dre's "team" for hiring a lawyer to help negotiate a prenup, maybe become a key issue in the case going forward based on the laws in California.

But, regardless, Dre claims the prenup is valid and should be enforced.

According to one report, Dre says "he never expressed shame over the prenup and he never tore it up or said it was invalid." Adding, "Nicole had her own lawyer and she had a clear choice on whether to sign or not."

We broke the story, the rapper's wife filed legal documents claiming after being married for a few years, Dre ripped the document up and claimed, "Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me. Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement and that it was null and void."

In Nicole's filing, she alleged Dr. Dre, "destroyed the agreements as a grand gesture of his love for Nicole and his desire to have a marriage free of any financial restrictions governing their respective rights and responsibilities."

At this point, Young is asking for a judge to rule on the validity and enforceability of the original prenup, something she claims should be tossed.

This could have HUGE implications in the couple's divorce because of the massive fortune on the table. According to Forbes, Dre is worth almost a BILLION dollars. So, if it is ordered there is no valid prenup, it could be a $500 Million decision.

A hearing on the issue is set for December.
