Dr. Disrespect Booted Off Twitch and Out of E3 After Streaming from Bathroom

By Gary Trock

One of the most popular pro gamers on Twitch was just seemingly banned from the platform after streaming himself in the bathroom at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Dr. Disrespect's Twitch page disappeared Tuesday afternoon after he livestreamed himself entering a bathroom at the Los Angeles Convention Center during E3.

The Doc was accompanied by a cameraman when he entered the men's restroom. Other people using the restroom, including a possible minor, were also shown on video.

The move was not only apparently against Twitch policy, but recording people in the bathroom without their consent could be considered a privacy violation and a crime in California.

Prior to entering the bathroom, Dr. Disrespect announced that he would be performing his first IRL Stream, which is when personalities stream real-life events.

However, his Twitter link now directs to an inactive page on Twitch, and all his prior video content has been cleared out.

According to Kotaku, the Doc also had his E3 badge revoked and he is now banned from the convention for the rest of the weekend.

The pro gamer, who is known for wrecking shop in multiplayer formats like "PUBG," "Fortnite Battle Royale" and "Call of Duty" has not yet addressed the situation.

E3 is an annual event that features the biggest names in the video game industry, including hardware manufacturers, software developers and publishers showcasing their upcoming projects.
