At first glance, you might think these photos of President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un yucking it up in Singapore are legit. However, the images of the pair dancing and hugging in the streets of the South Asian country are actually just impersonators.
Despite not being the real leaders, however, crowds of people still gathered around the Trump/Kim duo and tried to snap photos.
The shots of Trump and Kim seemingly doing the can-can in the streets of Singapore are somehow not even the weirdest thing to happen at the summit. Things have been, er, unusual thus far.
Earlier, President Trump showed Kim a dramatic, four-minute-long fake movie trailer portraying the two as heroes and then played it at a press conference.
The trailer was produced by a company called Destiny Pictures according to the vanity card in the video. However, much like the happy-go-lucky leaders seen hugging on the sidewalk, that too is fake.
Turns out there is an actual production company called Destiny Pictures and, as The Blast reported, he had nothing to do with the White House’s video.
