The "Say So" rapper was selected for YouTube's #WCE (Women Crush Everday) playlist on Tuesday and the cover art featured a picture of her with platinum blonde hair. While she took the time to thank YouTube music for the honor, she also took time to clap back at the trolls that said the photo editors made her skin lighter.

"Doja please dont let them white wash you... that pic is over exposed," one commenter wrote, while another said, "Oh dang why'd they make her white lol."

The "Juicy" artist did not take too kindly to all the speculation about her skin color and offered up a heated explanation as to why she looked lighter in that picture.

"Hey, so if you're stupid as f**k you probably left a comment under this picture talking about this [she showed the skin comments]," she lashed out.

"How about I'm half white, not entirely black. My skin gets very light when I don't tan," she explained. "I was staying indoors a lot before that shoot. New f**king subject! Dumbasses!"

Her Heritage

In a 2018 interview with Dazed, she spoke about her parents and explained her heritage. She said her mom is artist Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer and her father is South African actor Dumisani Dlamini.

"My mom was a painter and loves to sing behind closed doors. My father is a South African actor who danced in Broadway musicals for Lion King. I took a little bit of everything from both of them,” Doja said.

She's A Cow

Doja first came on the scene with her viral hit, "Mooo" which features the lyrics, "B**ch, I'm a cow."
