“Here’s what happened,” Moon Angell begins as she addresses why she moved out Beth Chapman’s clothes from Dog the Bounty Hunter’s closet.
During an interview with Dr. Oz, Angell explained that every time Dog walked by the closet that had Beth’s clothes, he would stop and begin to cry, or smell the clothes to get a sense of his late wife again. Angell, who’s been Dog’s girlfriend for a couple of months now, says Dog finally asked her to move the clothes because he couldn’t bear to do it himself.
Moon explained:
“Here’s what happened. When I got into the house, he would walk by the closet and bawl, and walk by the closet and bawl, and shut the door and then open the door. Then he would go in — I think this is pretty intimate …….He would smell Beth and he would go in there and sit down and cry and cry and cry,” Angell says.
“He asked me, ‘Do you think that you could take Beth’s things out of the closet?’ So it wasn’t a negative thing. It was because he just couldn’t do it anymore,” Angell says.

Dog then told Dr. Oz: “Once she did it, I was like relieved and then I walked….” but Dog paused because he’s clearly still in mourning over the loss of Chapman, who died last year after a long battle with cancer.
“I walked by and it was empty. And I’m like ‘oh, God,’ ” he said.
It was Dog who suggested Angell put some of her things in the closet.
” ‘She said ‘no.’ I said ‘Moon. That’s an order,’ ” he told Dr. Oz.

The upcoming interview, set to air Feb. 3, clarifies what Dog’s daughter, Lyssa Chapman, recently insinuated — that Moon Angell is moving forward in her relationship with Dog. But it seems clear that Dog is welcoming Angell into her life, a little bit at a time.
Apparently, Dog even asks Angell to marry him in this episode, though it’s being reported that the two are not engaged.

In that clip, Dog says he’s now “a lot happier with [Moon Angell] around,” and then he said “Moon Angell, will you marry me?”
TMZ cites sources who say that Dog was being “overly emotional,”
and that he “told Moon he loved her and revealed he was talking to God in the bathroom during a break, and God told him he should propose.”
A marriage proposal?

Regardless of what happens, Lyssa Chapman is not a fan of Moon Angell.
On Jan. 6, Chapman tweeted: “You’re disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet-Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before.”
