Yoda Will Sip Tea Off Your Face

Disney has decided to get in on the reusable face mask game. Now you can preorder cloth kids' face masks that have cute Disney-themed designs. Images from Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars are all represented. Each set costs $19.95 plus shipping.

There are all different designs for kids to choose from, and yes, there is a Baby Yoda mask. It comes as one in a set of four Star Wars-themed masks, so it does not appear you can get four Baby Yoda masks at once, unless you order it four times. Maybe you really do need that many Baby Yoda masks in your life; we won't judge.

Classic Disney Designs

The masks, available to preorder at, come in three sizes, small, medium and large to fit different faces. The masks come in sets of four.

Besides the Star Wars theme, you can also get designs from Toy Story (specifically, Forky), Disney princesses, Mickey and Minnie, and characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

They Also Come In Soothing Disney Princess Colors

According ShopDisney's website, the company is donating about 1 million face masks for those in communities that need it. They'll then be delivered by MedShare. In addition, up to $1 million of all profits from the sale of these face masks will go to MedShare.

Disney is doing still more to help keep people safe during the coronavirus pandemic. Last month, they donated 100,000 N95 masks to hard-hit areas like Florida, New York and California.

Disney parks also donated 150,000 rain ponchos for MedShare to send to hospitals and other medical facilities, so that those on the front lines can use them for personal protective equipment.

Since there appears to be a huge backlog in orders, it may take several weeks until your masks may be ready (think summer -- that's how long it might take.) Though that seems like an impossibly long amount of time, as each day passes it seems more and more likely that we'll be needing masks for a long time to come, at least until a vaccine is developed and becomes widely available.

So they should still be of use going into those hazy days of summer, which, this year, will be nothing like previous summers.

Edward Park, senior vice president of Disney store and ShopDisney, wrote on the Disney Parks Blog:

“We realize this is a challenging time for families and wearing any type of mask can be daunting. Our hope is that Disney’s cloth face masks featuring some of our most beloved characters will provide comfort to the families, fans and communities that are so important to us.”

So buy some now for those sweet, sweet, summer coronavirus days ahead.
