Diddy is still reeling the death of his ex and mother of four of his children, Kim Porter, one year after her death. The record label mogul shared a heartfelt message revealing he’s “still healing” following her unexpected passing on Saturday, the same day as their twins’ birthday. Diddy, who celebrated his 50th birthday days ago, got candid about losing Kim Porter and shared his struggles following her death by getting real with his nearly 16 Instagram followers by posting an emotional message.
It read, “It’s okay if you thought you were over it but it hits you all over again. It’s okay to fall apart even after you thought you had it under control. You are not weak, Healing is messy. And there is no timeline for healing.” Diddy captioned the sad message by writing, “Still healing ?If your healing LETS GO!” The rapper continued, “Is been rough but we can make it!!! Just keep going. I’m praying for you! We’re almost there! ?”
This isn’t the first time Diddy has remembered Kim Porter. The rapper shared an emotional message last week on what would have been his ex’s 49th birthday. Sharing a black and white video of himself and Kim through the years, he showed her singing and dancing during the happiest moments of her life. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp Words can’t explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday. We’re celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!” Diddy captioned the video tribute on his IG.
In November, the Bad Boys music exec also shared a post on Kim Porter’s one-year death anniversary. “I MISS YOU SOOOOOO MUCH. So much” Diddy captioned a video showcasing her musical talents. “Every time I get sad I look at this video and it brings a smile to my face,” Diddy wrote on Friday. “I THANK GOD FOR THE PRECIOUS TIME HE ALLOWED US TO HAVE WITH YOU. I WISH YOU WERE HERE WITH US RIGHT NOW AND THIS WAS ALL A DREAM. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON THAT WISH. NEVER!!!” he added before ending his heartfelt message with “Love you forever Kimberly Antwinette Goodwin Porter.” Kim Porter passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2018 inside her Los Angeles home. The cause of death was later discovered to be lobar pneumonia.
