Demi Lovato Announces 'Will & Grace' Cameo After Missing VMAs

By Whitney Vasquez

Demi Lovato is taking over Netflix and now, television too!

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer announced she's going to be appearing on the last season of "Will & Grace."

Sharing an image showing her on the hit show's set, Lovato told fans the exciting news just hours after she was accused of dissing Taylor Swift.

"Will & Grace & Demi," she captioned the shot.

Lovato missed out on Monday night's award show after revealing she "skipped the VMA's for a REASON." Many took that as a direct shot towards Swift over her recent issue with Lovato's manager, Scooter Braun.

It appears that wasn't the case at all though because Lovato seemed to be busy filming.

The singer later took to Instagram to reveal that she couldn't tell her fans what she was doing on Monday, but assured them "it's making me SO HAPPY."

She added, "I'm having SO MUCH FUN and I can't stop laughing."

Lovato spoke out against Swift, taking sides in her battle against Scooter Braun after he bought her "1989" masters for a reported $300 million.

After the "You Need to Calm Down" singer publicly aired out her frustrations and called Braun some names in the process, Lovato came to his defense.

Taking to IG, Lovato stated, "I have dealt with bad people in this industry and Scooter is not one of them. He's a good man."

"Personally," she continued, "I'm grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop 'dragging' people or bullying them. There's enough hate in this world as it is."

So, despite all the Lovatics and Swifties lashing out over the singer being MIA at the VMAs, it appears it had nothing to do with Swift at all.

Lovato's been jumping back into the acting world.

As The Blast reported, it was announced last week that she'll star alongside Will Ferrell in his new Netflix project, "Eurovision."

UPDATE: Demi Addresses 'Shade'

Demi Lovato addressed the so-called "shade" she supposedly threw at Taylor Swift.

Denying she dissed Swift, the singer took to IG and wrote, "I didn't 'shade' anyone last night. My REASON for not going is because I'm literally living my dream being on Will & Grace rn so stop reaching."

Here's another one showing Lovato goofing off with Sean Hayes.
