Demi Lovato has been rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles after suffering a medical emergency.
Sources tell us the singer was transported Tuesday morning via ambulance from her home in the Hollywood Hills.
L.A. Fire officials tell The Blast they responded, to Lovato's home at 11:22 AM this morning and transported a 25-year-old female to the hospital. LAPD responded shortly after, at 11:40 AM.
The exact nature of the emergency is still unclear, but sources extremely close to the star are adamant she was not abusing heroin.
Demi recently announced she had a slip in her sobriety in her new song, “Sober.” In the song, Lovato gives a detailed account of her struggle with alcohol addiction after being sober for six years.
In the past, she has been extremely open about her past addictions, including alcohol and cocaine.
Demi had just performed at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles over the weekend alongside Iggy Azalea.
