Harry says she was tied up with her boyfriend at the time, Chris Stein, in their New York home while an assailant ransacked their place.

"He poked round searching for anything worth anything," she reveals in the excerpt, obtained by The Sun.

Harry says, "He piled up the guitars and Chris’s camera and then he untied my hands and told me to take off my pants."

She continued, "He f***ed me. And then he said, 'Go clean yourself'."

Despite her attack, Harry wrote that it was her stolen guitars that "hurt me more."

The punk legend, who's now 74 years old, also recalls her music career and reflects on the ups and downs of the industry when Blondie songs like "Dreaming," "Call Me" and "Heart Of Glass" became legendary hits.

During an interview in 1989, Harry claimed she was once lured in a car driven by serial killer Ted Bundy while in New York in the 70s, but got away.

She reiterated the experience in another interview decades later, saying she recognized him from the newspaper.
