David Cassidy's estate is refusing to pay multiple lawyers who claim the actor left them with unpaid legal bills.

On December 22, the estate filed docs in Florida objecting to the creditors claim filed by law firm Rodier & Rodier. The firm claims Cassidy owed them $102,834 at the time of his death.

As The Blast first reported, Rodier & Rodier originally sued Cassidy in 2013, but he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015, which put their pending lawsuit on hold. His bankruptcy was dismissed but his debt was not discharged.

Recently, a second lawyer named Damaso Saavedra filed a claim against the estate for unpaid legal work in the amount of $19,006.02.

The personal representative of Cassidy's estate filed docs objecting to both Rodier & Rodier and Saavedra’s claims. The representative is refusing to pay the creditors and giving them 30 days to file an action against the estate.

As The Blast first reported, Cassidy’s will says his estate only has an estimated $150,000 in assets. The will stated his assets were to be awarded to his son Beau.
