Daniel Craig Seen Bloodied In Italy On Set of James Bond Movie

By Gary Trock

Daniel Craig is proving being James Bond isn't all about flashy cars and beautiful women, as the actor was covered in blood while shooting the latest installment of the spy franchise.

Craig was seen Tuesday in Matera, Italy while filming scenes for "No Time To Die," the 25th Bond movie.

He was wearing a blue shirt and linen pants with suspenders, which were almost ruined by a very large amount of fake blood the actor had splattered on his face.

It's unclear how 007 received the injuries, but he definitely looked to have been roughed up by some villain that he will undoubtedly get revenge on before the end credits.

"No Time To Die" co-stars actress Léa Seydoux and will be the 5th, and possibly last, Bond film for Daniel Craig ... who was hesitant to even sign on to the project in the first place.

Filming has been rife with controversy -- along with the first director, Danny Boyle, leaving due to "creative differences," Craig injured himself and delayed filming for several weeks.

Back in May, the star sustained an ankle injury while filming in Jamaica and underwent minor surgery. He wore a boot for several weeks after while his scenes were postponed.

According to a description of the plot, "No Time To Die" will revisit James Bond after he has left active service, until his friend Felix Leiter enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist.

The movie is scheduled to premiere in the UK on April 3, 2020 and in the US on April 8.
