'Dancing With The Stars' Casts Ex-Trump Aide Sean Spicer, And People Are Pissed

The full list of contestants for season 28 of "Dancing With the Stars" was revealed on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday.

The field is the typical mix of actors, athletes, and reality TV stars. But one name caught the Internet off guard: Sean Spicer.

Spicer was best known as Donald Trump's combative press secretary during the first year and a half of his presidency. He often came under fire for stretching the truth, most famously about the number of people in attendance at Trump's inauguration.

Aside from Spicer, the full cast includes The Supremes’ Mary Wilson, Karamo Brown, "The Bachelorette‘s" Hannah Brown, supermodel Christie Brinkley, country star Lauren Alaina, James Van Der Beek, NFL legend Ray Lewis, "The Office" star Kate Flannery, pop star Ally Brooke, Lamar Odom, and Kel Mitchell.

The show premieres on September 16.
