DaBaby’s alleged slapping victim isn’t buying the rapper’s apology and has hired herself a lawyer.

According to reports, the alleged victim, Tyronesha Laws, has lawyered up and is ready to take action against DaBaby.

Last week, a video went viral showing DaBaby slapping a woman inside a nightclub. In the clip, DaBaby was scheduled to perform at the Whiskey North in Tampa. He was walking to the stage when a female fan tried to take a photo of him walking by. He can be seen turn towards the fan and smack her in the face. Fans at the event were not here for it and the show was cancelled.

Days later, DaBaby took to social media to issue a semi-apology to the fan. He claimed he had no idea it was a woman in front of him. He started by saying, “I do sincerely apologize. I’m very sorry that there was a female on the other end of that flashlight. Keep in mind, I couldn’t see you because you had the flash this close to me … it’s no problem.” The rapper claims he had no idea who it was because the woman was very close to him with her phone flash shining at him.

He added, “it’s a well-known fact, male or female, I would have responded the same exact way.”

DaBaby offered to the fan, “you can get flewed out. I would fly you out. We can sit down and have an adult conversation. I would love to apologize to you in person. I can apologize publicly if you don’t prefer that. I can apologize privately. I have no problem apologizing.”

It looks like Tyronesha isn’t buying the apology and has hired a lawyer to represent her in a civil action against DaBaby. She spoke out calling his apology empty and fake. She claims to have been diagnosed with a bruised cheekbone from the assault.

Her lawyer released a statement, “Morgan & Morgan has been retained to represent the interests of Tyronesha Laws. Ms. Laws has received DaBaby's Instagram message. We look forward to speaking with Mr. Kirk."

A lawsuit has yet to be filed.
