Conor McGregor has finally reached a settlement with the security guard who sued him for battery, following a year of the two battling it out in court over the UFC fighter’s deposition.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the two sides submitted papers saying "that the parties to the above-entitled action have now fully settled their claims in this case, with an agreement that each side will bear their own fees and costs. It is expected that all settlement documents can be exchanged and this matter will be fully resolved."

As The Blast first reported, William Pegg sued Conor McGregor over an incident that took place during a press conference in August 2016 for McGregor’s fight with Nate Diaz.

The presser became infamous when Diaz stormed out and the two began throwing water bottles at each other. Video from the event showed Conor McGregor grabbing a can of what appeared to be a Monster energy drink off a table and throwing it at Diaz.

Pegg claimed in his lawsuit the can hit him in the back near his left shoulder. He claimed he incurred medical expenses from his injury for just under $5,000. He sued asking for at least $95,000 in damages.

The two sides went back and forth for months over McGregor's deposition, which he allegedly blew off again earlier this month.
