The star posted a photo of the book she is reading with her newborn, Hudson, in the background.
“Big kids in school and baby sleeping = chill time with a new thriller,” Anstead wrote.
“Side note- Thank you for all the well wishes,” she continued, “I went to the doctor yesterday and had an ultrasound… no damage done, just need to take it easy and let my body repair from surgery.”
The update comes after her opening up about how she was hurting because she was “lifting and running around” for her older child’s birthday party.
“I definitely hurt myself. It’s not the c-section incision area that hurts it’s my left abdomen and it hurts bad,” she explained.
When she first described her pain, she included some advice to mothers in her original post.
“So please anyone who just had a baby- don’t overdue [SIC] it,” Christina said. “I always want to be the people pleaser in the family and make sure everyone knows how much I care about them- but in doing so I wasn’t taking care of myself.”
Anstead gave birth to baby Hudson London Anstead on September 6 via a planed C-section.
The star shared the news with her fans shortly after.
“Our hearts are SO full of love and joy! Our healthy baby boy was born this morning- 9/6/19 – 7 lbs 7 oz 19.5 inches long.”
