Christina Aguilera loves having her picture taken but when it comes to the “Liberation” singer snapping the beloved millennial selfie, she’s not having it. The Grammy winner opened up about her distaste for turning the camera on herself in an Instagram video on Thursday where she ranted and dropped several curse words to describe her annoyance at the popular move, debatably made famous by selfie queen Kim Kardashian. Despite her dislike for taking selfies, Christina Aguilera still snapped away because she knows the importance of adding quality content to the Gram.
Wearing a long-sleeved dress with a colorful pattern, the blonde bombshell held her phone up and took a sultry selfie in her signature red lip. Christina Aguilera flashed a boss look with her daytime smoky eye and beautiful bushy brows. The “Fall On Me” singer looked picture-perfect in her photo to the point that no one would ever think she didn’t enjoy snapping it. That is until she followed it up with a hilarious video talking smack about her selfie game that was so loaded with curse words, you’d think she was a sailor.
In the video, Christina Aguilera is seen changing angles and giving serving lewks for her selfie before laughing at herself and telling the member of her team who’s watching, “I hate a f—ing selfie!” She followed that up by losing her cool and giving up. “Goddamn, it! F— this s—.” Christina Aguilera also captioned the funny post, “F— a selfie.” Fans loved the video and the singer for being so real and relatable that they immediately filled her comments up with praise.
“You’re the best person ever!! I hate a f— selfie too!” one person wrote. “Lmaooooooo! A selfie video is better you hottttt fckn goddess queen ? appreciate this from ya,” added another. “She knows how DUMB it is to post vids like that ???? I stan!!” posted a third. Despite taking a breathtaking selfie on Christmas Day, Christina Aguilera loves when others take pics of her. Like her birthday when she made Santa’s naughty list alongside Demi Lovato or that time she spilled out of an orange dress that could barely contain her famous curves.
