John Legend's 'Voice' Dinner Happened Despite Chrissy Teigen's Meltdown

John Legend's dinner with his "Voice" castmates after their finale went off without a hitch, despite major push back from his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who wasn't happy about learning she was hosting the last-minute post season 17 party. The "We Need Love" singer shared a sweet post-dinner picture featuring his fellow reality competition judges -- Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani -- as well as his pajama-clad wife just hours after Chrissy lost it when she found out the famous trio was coming to her house for a post-finale feed.

Chrissy Teigen, who's the queen of tweets, went on an afternoon rant Tuesday when she found out it was the last episode of their hit NBC show. Being totally relatable, the model told her 12 million followers how frustrated she was with her husband for not informing her it was the finale and how underprepared she was for the big night, especially because there was no cake. "I didn’t know tonight was the voice finale. John invited everyone to dinner at the house after and I’m really f----- mad because I didn’t make a f---- FINALE meal," she tweeted. "I would have gotten a cake or something too?? Who the f--- does this? U don’t win the voice then eat short ribs."

Clarifying she knew they were coming, but didn't know it was the last show, Chrissy gave more insight into their marriage revealing this isn't the first time John Legend's withheld important info. "It sounds dumb yes but this is VERY john. I am always in charge of doing the fun, extra s--- and he has no idea how much I plan normally and he’s like 'no it’s fine they just wanna have dinner' but it’s literally the finale of their show??? And I have no ice cream truck," she continued. "if u think this is stupid go ahead and tell me what you made when Blake Kelly and Gwen came over to your house," the model added.

It all turned out well in the end, and guess what? There was cake. "We had a dinner party. There was cake!" John jokingly captioned the group photo. "Merry Christmas and happy Voice finale to all!" Chrissy showed off the dessert on her Instagram story, which her singing husband brought home after her rant. The round cake with white frosting and rainbow sprinkles read, "John's 'Solution' Cake." While John Legend obviously thinks he's funny, Chrissy Teigen doesn't and ended her night with one last rant. "omfg I ordered like 5 milk bar cakes before john’s one cake got here from the SAME place and he thinks he is some f----- hero," she wrote.
