Chrissy Metz is going country, revealing she's releasing her very own album.

The "This is Us" star was outside Wendy Williams' studio in NYC on Wednesday when a photographer asked her about a potential album.

Rushing into the studio for her appearance, she made sure to take the time to confirm the news.

"Yeah, I think so. I've been working on some new music," she said.

Fans have been wondering if she's making the switch from TV to radio ever since she wowed the crowd while performing at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Back in April, Metz made her country debut during the 54th annual award show singing "I'm Standing With You," a ballad on the soundtrack for the faith-based movie "Breakthrough."

She was joined on the stage with Carrie Underwood, Lauren Alaina, Maddie & Tae and Mickey Guyton.

Wearing a hot pink dress that screamed "summer" with adorable mint ballet flats, Metz looked cool and confident after leaving Wendy Williams' show.

Accessorizing with the perfect red purse, she smiled as she stopped to say hi to fans on the way out.

Of course, Metz has showcased her vocal talents on "This is Us," but fans have watched as her character struggles with stage fright.

The actress' confirmation on her album comes the day after she talked about her potential music career with Access Hollywood.

During the interview, she said she'd been writing new music for the past year.

"Whenever I have time I go to Nashville and have been doing some songwriting," Metz opened up.

As far as her musical inspirations go, Metz said she has a number of them.

“Oh, gosh, there’s so many. Currently, Chris Stapleton, I’m obsessed with. Sara Bareilles, I love her new album," she said. "Bonnie Raitt, classically she’s just ridiculous. But, yeah, it’s so hard because there’s so many amazing artists, it’s hard to pick one.”

As of now, there's no exact date on when Metz's album will drop.
