Todd Chrisley decided to go off on the media and his critics, after he claimed in statement that the press has created a train wreck of his family, with twisted versions of the truth.
The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star blasted the press over the weekend, on social media, saying the accusations against him are just not true.
“Amen … to each of you that reads this know, Life isn’t easy , it’s messy , difficult , joyous , heartbreaking , thrilling , sad, hopeful , forgiving (never forget ) and at times exhausting . I’ve learned through the years that just because we pray , go to church , try to live a good life , doesn’t mean we won’t face trials , and all of the above that I just listed but with faith in the Lord everything gets a bit easier”, the Chrisley said.
The reality star continued, “We are no different than any other family on this planet , we are not immune to sorrow , heartbreak , addiction, family strife etc, you just get to watch ours play out on TV and the internet , you get to watch the train wreck that the press creates with twisted versions of the truth.”
It seems Todd is forgetting him, and his wife Julie, have been charged with 11 crimes by federal prosecutors with related to tax evasion and bank fraud. In his Instagram post, Todd mentioned sometimes facing trials in life, in this case he is literally correct.
Charging documents revealed evidence of Todd and Julie fudging documents and information in order to obtained loans. But, in the end its up to a jury to decide who is guilty and who is not.
The message ends with a call to everyone to breathe positivity into other peoples lives, saying, “nevertheless, we are all the same, so today I challenge you to be the blessing in someone’s life, if it’s just a kind word of encouragement, opening a door, allowing someone to merge over in your lane, telling someone you love them, any random act of kindness, what may seem small to you may change someone’s entire day, be the hero today, be kind, the world is full of haters , liars and manipulators, stand out and step up, it will make you feel as good as the person you are showing kindness to.”
The Chrisley’s are back in court later this month to face the charges.
