Breezy went on social media Saturday morning and thanked the "Sorry" singer for the public show of support.
"I love you man! Thank you for believing in me. Your star shines so bright and your heart is unmatched!" Breezy wrote on Bieber's post.
He added, "You are a king but more importantly you were here to inspire and create endless possibilities bro! I'm with ya till the wheels fall off and when they do .. we gone get some new wheels."
Fans of Bieber, however, are not as happy for JB showing affection for CB.
"Beating women is more than a “mistake”. Abuse is not a quality to be appreciated," one person wrote, while another said, "Shame on you. Repeated incidents of violence and sexual assault are not 'a mistake.'"
On Friday night, Bieber posted a piece of art showing an equation, which added Jackson and Tupac to equal Brown. The singer said, "everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time."
What really set people off was Bieber's second thought of, "the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate!"
Many agreed with Bieber's words, however many also felt, "Just because he’s talented doesn’t mean he should be given a free pass to harm others. Posts & sentiments like yours are exactly why survivors are afraid to come forward and speak out."
Brown was arrested in 2009 for the beating of Rihanna, and since then has been involved in numerous physical altercations and been accused of multiple times of violence towards women.
