Chris Brown found himself in the back of a police cruiser on a felony warrant minutes after wrapping up a performance in Florida.
According to court records, Brown was charged with felony battery stemming from an incident last year when he allegedly punched a photographer at a nightclub. The narrative in the police report says Brown was making an appearance at Tampa's Club Air in 2017 when he allegedly struck the photog in the face with a closed fist.
The arrest report, obtained by The Blast, claims the photographer suffered injuries to his upper and lower lip, and the incident was captured on video by club security. Brown fled the scene before cops arrived.
Thursday night Brown was performing in West Palm Beach at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre. Immediately following the show, he was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for 3rd degree felony assault.
According to the booking sheet, he bailed out within an hour for $2,000.
The "Loyal" singer has been on tour lately, and is even scheduled to perform Friday in Tampa. It's unclear how the arrest will effect that performance.
At the time of the alleged assault, the nightclub said, "Incidents like the ones caused by Chris Brown and his team are very sad to see. After only a few minutes of being there, Chris Brown himself and his team assaulted our club photographer and proceeded to walk out of the venue."
