Channing Tatum paid tribute to his late dog, Lulu to celebrate his latest Hollywood success. His newest project is inspired by the beloved pooch and MGM just gave it the green light.
The actor shared his excitement on Instagram on Monday by posting a few sweet snaps of him and Lulu. Earlier in the day, the news broke that MGM studios acquired the rights to distribute Tatum and his longtime creative partner Reid Carolin's road trip tale, "Dog." One pic features Channing on a dirt bike as Lulu stares lovingly into his eyes and another shows the duo snuggled up in the bed of his truck on the inspirational road trip.
"A little over a year ago I got back from a road trip where I said goodbye to my best friend. Now I’m making a movie inspired by her. So proud to announce that DOG will be released by @mgm_studios and in theaters next Valentine’s Day weekend," Tatum wrote in the caption of his post.
Jessie J quickly left him a heart ❤️ emoji in the comments section of his post.
