Channing Tatum Breaks Social Media Silence After Officially Becoming Single

By Jeff Mazzeo

Channing Tatum made his triumphant return to social media after months of focusing on "the real world."

In August, the star shared a message that said he was taking a break because he was not feeling "inspired" to create social content.

He shared a statement for his last post before signing off.

"I'm gonna take a break and come off socials for a minute," Channing wrote. "I've been trying to get inspired and create again. And to be honest i don't really feel, or at least i haven't felt very creative on social in the last couple years now. I'm gonna go and be just in the real world for a while and off my phone. I'll probably come back at some point. But if i do i want to have a dirction or a clear point of view of why I'm on here and what I'm puttin out there. Love ya! see ya after a while!?"

His First Post Back

Tatum's first post back hinted at the fact that he has been going through some life changes following the split from his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan and finding love with pop star, Jesse J. It is interesting timing that he got back on the Gram days after his divorce became official.

He shared a few black and white pictures of himself in bed and what appeared to be a horoscope that reassured him that his "transformation cycle" was halfway complete and that the changes would be positive. The inspirational message said that the "cycle" is like a bolt of lightning that is "cracking you open so more light gets in."

"Well I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to be hit by lighting[sic]. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🙏🏼🙈," Channing joked in the caption of his post, "although there are no Storm clouds in this Miami sky today!! Bring it good lighting bring it. ⚡️⚡️🌈"

His Mom Has Helped Him During His Tough Time

Channing has millions of fans but nobody can love someone like a mother can and he revealed that his mom came to town to support him.

The star posted a cute photo of the little chachkies and notes his mother left for him to find after she went home. She left him a little woodblock that read, "live like someone left the gate open," and a card that featured a fairy Godmother on the front.

"Love when my mom come to town and leaves little presents for me to find once she leaves. Be lovin you mama! Always! Leaving that swinging promise!"

Moving On

Tatum and Dewan are officially divorced and can move on, even though one has a budding romance with a pop star and the other is expecting a child with her new fiance.

Even though they are no longer legally married, Dewan and Tatum are far from ending their divorce and will now need to work out custody and financial settlements. They share daughter Everly and have both want to share joint physical and legal custody of the 6-year-old girl.

Tatum's romance with Jessie J appears to be going strong but the two have not dropped any hints at a wedding or baby in the near future. They have been spending lots of time together and are clearly very serious.
