Her heart will go on but her show will not, at least for the next two months.
Céline Dion just announced she was canceling shows at her Las Vegas residency for the months of April and May due to "a condition in her middle ear."
The French-Canadian powerhouse announced the cancelations via Facebook and explained that the condition "causes hearing irregularities, and makes it extremely difficult to sing."
The post explains that the "My Heart Will Go On" singer has been suffering for over a year but it's gotten increasingly worse over the last few weeks.
A personal message from the Grammy winner was included in the announcement (which was posted by her team). In it, Céline said, "My luck hasn’t been very good lately... I’ve been so looking forward to doing my shows again and this happens…. I just can’t believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I’m so sorry."
Refunds are being issued for all ticket holders and Céline will be back at The Colosseum on May 22.
