Catherine Zeta-Jones exploded onto the Hollywood scene with The Mask Of Zorro and cemented herself as one of the most beautiful women in the world. Since establishing herself as a bombshell, Zeta-Jones went on to get an Oscar nomination for Chicago and marry fellow actor Michael Douglas.
As she has gotten older, the 50-year-old is becoming more choosy in her roles, but she is still as glamorous as ever. She posted a selfie in a black bikini with the caption “Sun’s out!!! ☀️ Sunday.” The new girls just aren’t doing it it like Catherine Zeta-Jones.
While Zeta-Jones has aged beautifully, she doesn’t completely rule out plastic surgery for her future. She said in an interview with Good Housekeeping in 2016:
“You don’t have to be a beauty queen to be an actress. The roles that are coming my way are different and more interesting. But I’m not anti-plastic surgery at all. Contrary to public opinion, I have not been under the knife…yet, is what I say! If I feel like it, I’m going to go ahead and do it! If (surgery) makes you feel better, who am I to tell someone that it’s wrong?”
“First of all, I’m so happy that we’ve made it to be 20 years together. It’s been great. But I think it’s just unfathomable to me that you would be with one person for 18 years, and things are not rosy every day. They’re just not. My mother and father were married for 52 years and they were a wonderful blueprint for me, because I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly with them, and they’re still going strong.
Both Michael and I have a very open relationship. When you have kids that didn’t ask to be born into a world where it’s scrutinized or looked into, you’ve got to be open and honest and share things that, probably, people at the drugstore wouldn’t share over the counter.”
Zeta-Jones is capitalizing on her enviable beauty and lifestyle and launching a GOOP inspired luxury brand this month. Casa Zeta-Jones will feature vegan shoes, coffee, love spoons and make-up, and will be more cost conscious than Gwyneth Paltrow’s ubiquitous lifestyle range.
According to Zeta-Jones, this new project was born out of her need to refocus her energy now that her children were getting older. She said:
“Everything I have designed has truly been a passion project. I wanted to take this passion a step further and create a brand that’s beautiful and luxurious, while still being attainable.”
