Casey Anthony Pleads Guilty … to Running a Stop Sign

Casey Anthony was finally brought to justice by the Florida legal system ... albeit for a much, much smaller offense than the one she was previously (and famously) accused of.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Anthony was pulled over on November 19 at 5:22 PM in Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, which is near her home in West Palm Beach.
Anthony was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. The ticket notes that she was driving a 2016 Blue Ford during the stop.
On December 12, Anthony entered a guilty plea to the charge and paid a penalty of $264 to close the case.
Better late than never.
Casey Anthony was arrested in 2008 in connection with the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.
She was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four counts of providing false information to police.
Anthony pleaded not guilty to the charges and went to trial in 2011.
On July 5, 2011, Anthony was ultimately found not guilty of the first-degree murder charge, as well as the rest of the charges, except for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
She was given credit for time served and released from prison two weeks later.
The speeding ticket also comes weeks after her father was seriously injured in a rollover car crash after losing control of his vehicle in Daytona Beach.
