According to reports, there is no word on spousal support, but both sides are extremely wealthy -- so it may be a situation of 'you keep yours and I'll keep mine.

But, as we reported, the ex-couple recently purchased a massive mansion outside of Atlanta, Georgia. So, if they bought the home together, there will be a ton of financial issues to undo.

In cases like this, if a judge orders 'primary' custody for one side, the other will get visitation. In many celebrity divorces, the legal case will be mediated outside of a courtroom, and a settlement on money and custody will be reached.

Cardi B's Says It's A 'Contested Divorce' -- Couple Doesn't Agree On Terms Of Split

Interestingly, Cardi B's divorce filing is seeking dissolution of marriage but indicates it's a 'contested divorce.'

According to Georgia law, "a contested divorce is a divorce in which parties cannot agree on one or more of the issues involved. More often than not, disagreements are over child custody or property division, but any issue can be at the center of the dispute, including alimony and child support."

It should be noted, depending on how the child custody is ordered in this case, the amount of time with each parent can drastically change the amount of money paid in child support by either party.

It's Unclear If Cardi B & Offset Have A Prenuptial Agreement

Plus, if Cardi B makes MORE money than Offset, it's possible she would be the one paying child support or alimony to him.

It's unclear in the legal documents if the couple has a prenuptial agreement. If so, it could specifically outline some of these issues.

As we reported, Cardi B filed for divorce from husband Offset after several accusations of infidelity. The case was filed in Fulton County, Georgia. Offset publically apologized for issues in the relationship during one of Cardi's major concerts.

“All of my wrongs have been made public, I figure it’s only right that my apologies are made public too," he said at the time.

Hollywood Unlocked was first to break the news of the divorce.
