Cardi B's Private Text Messages Sought By Blogger in $1 Million Battle

The blogger suing Cardi B is trying to get her hands on the rapper’s private texts and emails.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, blogger Latasha K (real name Latasha Kebe) is revealing she will be demanding Cardi turn over messages as part of their dueling lawsuits.

Latasha K says she will want Cardi to hand over “any and all videos created and published by Plaintiff to her social media accounts, regarding Kebe”, “any and all written posts published by plaintiff to her social media posts”, “all direct and/or private messages between Plaintiff and Kebe on various social media accounts.”

The blogger also wants, “any and all communications between Plaintiff and non-parties, including but not limited to posts and uploads on social media accounts owned by Plaintiff and non-parties, regarding Kebe.”

Further, she wants Cardi to produce ,”any and all mobile communications” talking about Kebe.

Earlier this year, Cardi B sued bloggers Latasha K and Starmine Ebony Jones. She accused them of defaming by calling her a prostitute and claiming she had herpes.

Cardi took issue with various things Latasha K posted about her, including talking about her baby Kulture. Starmine made accusations that Cardi did drugs including molly and cocaine.

She sued them for defamation and sought unspecified damages and also wanted an injunction ordering the videos to be taken offline.

Latasha K then counter-sued Cardi demanding $1 million in damages and accusing the singer of causing her to receive threats.

Latasha runs a YouTube channel with 500k followers and runs various other successful social media accounts for her celebrity blog.

She admitted publishing a video with another blogger in which they talked about Cardi B. She claims Cardi then reached out to her privately and asked her to remove the video.

She offered her to do an interview to discuss her issues but Cardi declined. She says then,“Cardi B began to publicly defame Ms. Kebe, referring to her as “this blogger lady”, by stating that Ms. Kebe makes up fake stories; harasses all of Cardi B’s friends; constantly stalks Cardi B; falsely claims that she has legitimate sources giving her information about Cardi B; uses Cardi B’s name for “click bait”; and many other false accusations.”

The blogger says Cardi then trashed her online to her millions of followers and even posted a IG video calling Latasha K “dumb ass bitch” and “hoe” numerous times; discussed how all the YouTube bloggers talk about Cardi B; and threatened to retaliate with litigation, not because Cardi B was being defamed, but because people were “talking shit about her friends” and she was “sick of it.”

Latasha K says she has received threats including gang-threats as a result and has had to permanently relocate her residence, she claims to also be losing money from her business by losing subscribers and advertisers. She says she is pregnant and suffering severe emotional distress and anxiety and stress.

The case is ongoing.
