Busy Philipps Reveals She Was Raped at 14-Years-Old

Inspired by the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford against SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Busy Philipps has just revealed she was raped as a teenager.

The actress made the post on her IG as a #TBT along with a photo of her when she was a child. "This is me at 14," Philipps explained, adding, "The age I was raped."

She says it's taken 25 years to say "those words," and only told her parents and sister 4 months ago. In support of Dr. Ford, Philipps says, "Today is the day we are silent no more. All of us."

The details behind Philipps' alleged assault are unclear, but she says she wrote about the incident in her upcoming book, "This Will Only Hurt a Little."
