The Korean pop group BTS is the subject of a legal battle over bootleggers trying to illegally profit off the band's hard work.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Big Hit Entertainment has filed a legal case seeking for the court's help to take down counterfeiters.

Big Hit Entertainment explains they have the legal right to sell concert merchandise using the BTS name, logo and trademarks. The super popular group is set to perform at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on May 4 and 5 as part of their world tour that started last year in South Korea.

The company claims that bootleggers are trying to hawk inferior quality merchandise outside the tour stops and they want a court order allowing them to seize the items.

Big Hit claims BTS is being damaged by the people ripping off their trademarks and name.

The lawsuit is also asking for a United States Marshal to be allowed to seize and impound all bootleg merch and for unspecified damages.
