L.A. Comics Pay Tribute to Brody Stevens While Raising Thousands for Charity

By TheBlast Staff

Comedian Brody Stevens may be gone, but his positive energy lives on through his community of comic friends who gathered to raise money for a good cause and pay tribute to the late star.

The show went down Tuesday night in the Main Room at the Comedy Store, one of Brody's favorite hangouts. The "Festival of Friendship" included comedians like Aida Rodriguez, Darren Carter and Jeff Leach.

The Comedy Store put up a photo of all the comics wearing shirts recently made in honor of Stevens, and revealed that over $40,000 was raised for charity.

As we reported, the 48-year-old comedian took his own life after years of battling depression.
