It's been 10 years since the death of actress Brittany Murphy, and still, the incidents surrounding her passing raise questions with members of her family who believe the truth of Murphy's demise has yet to be unveiled. 32-year-old Brittany Murphy was an A-list star famous for movies like "Clueless," "Girl, Interrupted" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous." She had a long, bright future ahead of her, but unfortunately died way too young.

Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 AM on December 20, 2009 after collapsing in the bathroom of her Hollywood Hills home, which she shared with her husband and mother. The primary cause of the actress' death was listed as pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication. The death was listed as "natural causes."

However, Brittany Murphy's half-brother thinks there is more to the dath, and spoke to the Daily Mail about his beliefs surround his famous half-sister's death.

Tony Bertolotti, who shared a father with Murphy, said:

"I spent years looking at this, suppressing my own anger. I think Brittany was taken out. Who killed Brittany? She didn't die of natural causes."

Bertolotti is pointing his suspicion at Murphy's mother, Sharon, and her then-husband, Simon Monjack.

"If you look at it from a distance, it's like here's this young lady, a fairly healthy girl, she's home with her supposed husband and mother, and she died. How absurd is it? It's only in Hollywood that it's considered another day at the zoo. No one takes her to a hospital, which is just four miles away," he said.
