Britney Spears is sweating her butt off for summer and letting everyone know that she's only pounds away from her ideal weight.

"I’ve been working really hard to loose weight .... and for me 3 pounds is like 7 pounds it’s a lot," the singer told fans on Monday in an Instagram video.

When it comes to her favorite workouts, Spears explains that cardio isn't her favorite: "I don’t like doing too much cardio. My body has muscle memory, cus I use it be gymnast and I can bulk up .... so I like isolated movement."

The "Toxic" singer then put on a fitness exhibition and showed off her various workout moves, including kettlebell work, lunges, elastic bands ... and many, many sexy hip thrusts.

"The key to my workout is repetition, but that gets boring so I have a booklet I’ve made with all my favorite exercises," the 37-year-old star revealed.

She also explained that, "I usually wear headphones .... music takes me away."

As we reported, Britney has been on a workout tirade after photos were taken during her trip to Miami with boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

Brit was convinced the photos were edited to make her look heavy, although the photo agency is adamant they never altered any of the images.

Still obviously bothered by the photos, Britney admits, "I know I don’t look perfect here, but I’m working on it."

Britney has been finding strength for fitness in her boyfriend, and even recently revealed the two have been riding bicycles near her home in Thousand Oaks.

She hopes that, "Hopefully one day I can give my boyfriend’s abs a run for their money!!!"

BTW -- we don't know why she suddenly changed shorts during the video.
