Britney Spears is causing mayhem on social media after she posted a photo wearing all black and fans think it's a sign that the "Toxic" singer is telling them she's in danger. The 38-year-old pop princess' post immediately began filling up with worried followers leaving comments praying for the star's safety. In the new snap, dropped on Wednesday afternoon, Britney Spears can be seen covering her curves in all black. Sporting a tailored black jacket with lace bottom, the performer thanked the designer for the high-priced garb.
"This blazer is simply classic!!!!!" Britney Spears told her fans. "Thank you again for this sick jacket @AlexanderMcQueen ✨?⭐️? !!!!!" While Britney Spears didn't mention anything out of the ordinary in her caption, her fans feel like it's a cryptic message aimed at them.
"SHE'S WEARING BLACK!!!!" one follower wrote. "Omg there was a comment on her last post telling her to wear black if she's in trouble... and here she is wearing black," explained another.

"Oh my god she's wearing BLACK YALL!!! This is a sign from the previous post!!!" added a third. Others weren't as quick to pull the trigger.
"Someone posted yesterday for her to wear black if she's in danger. Maybe it's a coincidence but I'm shocked today a pic wearing black," someone else commented. Another fan decided to test the theory by writing, "POST FRUIT IN YOUR NEXT POST IF YOU'RE IN DANGER!" A different follower accused someone of deleted several of the comments asking Britney Spears if she was okay.
Britney Spears has been entangled in a battle over her conservatorship and a protest is planned outside the court of her upcoming hearing. Fans aren't the only ones concerned about the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer. "Scream" actress Rose McGowan recently spoke out in favor of #FreeBritney.
Comparing Britney Spears' situation to that of the late Brittany Murphy, the star said, "Hollywood kills, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, but it kills. Your soul, your mind, your self-esteem, pressure of perfection... it’s endless and twists your mind."
