Britney Spears is finally breaking her silence on the #FreeBritney movement, and not only does she SUPPORT it, but she wants to make it clear -- they had point all along about her father wanting to hide details of her conservatorship from the public and her fans and she wants it exposed!

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Britney Spears is opposing her father Jamie's attempt to seal parts of her conservatorship case and says she is done with keeping her "legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret."

In the filing, Britney specifically calls out a recent interview done by her father where he says the situation in "nobody's business," but the pop star says she now welcomes and "appreciates the informed support of her many fans."

According to the documents, Britney Spears makes it clear she is opposed to her father bringing on an attorney (who was involved in the conservatorship for years) to work with him in running her estate.

Instead, as we reported, she is asking the court to appoint a financial management company to control her finances, property, and even aspects of her career.

Shockingly, Britney is opposed to keeping the information a secret any longer -- something that has long been the norm in this case -- and is asking for most of it to be public. Jamie claims the sealing of information is done to "protect" Britney's interests, but she is "adamantly" opposed to it.

Plus, she says nothing in the discussion about her finances, in any way, involves "private health and medical information and private information concerning Ms. Spears and her minor children."

Britney's legal team admits her conservatorship case has "attracted an unprecedented level of scrutiny from mainstream media and social media." But, shockingly, the pop star says she wants the information available to the public.

As you know, the #FreeBritney movement believes she is being held against her will, and that people around her are controlling her life with minimal oversight.

In a stunning revelation, Britney is calling out her father for calling the movement a "conspiracy" and a "joke" -- saying not only do they have a point, she supports it.

"Far from being a conspiracy theory or a "joke" as James reportedly told the media, in large part this scrutiny is a reasonable and even predictable result of James' aggressive use of the sealing procedure over the years to minimize the amount of meaningful information made available to the public."

"Whatever merits his strategy might have had years ago when Britney was trying to restart her career, at this point in her life when she is trying to regain some measure of personal autonomy, Britney welcomes and appreciates the informed support of her many fans," the document says.

It continues, "Britney herself is vehemently opposed to this effort by her father to keep her legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret."

As for her father's call for privacy in this situation, her lawyer says he gave up that right when he took control of her affairs.

"The moment that James obtained from this Court the power to handle Britney's affairs on her behalf, he surrendered a large measure of privacy as to the manner in which he exercises that power."

Bottom line -- Britney's lawyers say, "Transparency is an essential component in order for this Court to earn and retain the public's confidence with respect to protective proceedings like this one.

Adding, "In this case, it is not an exaggeration to say that the whole world is watching."
