Britney Spears' Sister Jamie Lynn Spears Dishes On Singer's Parenting Skills

By Whitney Vasquez

Britney Spears' little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, says it's ironic that the "Toxic" singer is a mom to two boys. In a recent interview, the "Steel Magnolias" actress sat down with Access and addressed her Grammy-winning sister being a "boy mom." Calling herself a "tomboy," Jamie Lynn laughed while stating how funny it is that she was blessed with two girls while her "girly" sister gave birth to two sons. Talking about their difference in personalities, the 29-year-old star dished on their private lives as mothers.

Britney's A 'Boy Mom'

The following year, the then-married couple welcomed their second son, Jayden. While their spawns don't necessarily match their perspective moms, Jamie Lynn called it "fun" for the sisters to switch roles every once in a while. Saying that Britney Spears is an awesome girl aunt, the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer's little sister told Access, "She gets to spoil my girls and I get to be hard on her boys, and so that's just kind of fun to switch roles a little bit as girl mom [and] boy mom."

Is New Music On The Way?

Britney's life as a mom isn't the only thing Jamie Lynn dished about her famous sister. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress said that fans shouldn't hold their breath to wait for the singer to drop new music. "I don't really think so," she responded when asked if Britney was working on new music. "I mean, right now, she's quarantining in L.A. But, in general, she's kind of just relaxing. And I think that's good." Saying that her sister "deserves" some time off from the spotlight, she added that Britney has "worked her ass off," but insisted she's not retiring from the industry.
