Britney Spears Shuts Down Internet Trolls: Reading Mean Comments 'Hurts My Feelings!'

Britney Spears wants you to know she reads most of her comments, including the mean ones that are left for her every single day. The 39-year-old singer addressed her fans, speaking out against cyberbullies after feeling attacked over her posts the last several weeks. As you'll recall, the pop princess sparked mental health concerns after sharing a number of the same pictures multiple times, leaving many of her loyal followers begging her to stop posting bizarre photos. Now, Britney Spears is facing those Internet trolls head-on, telling them that she sees them, reads their comments, and she won't stand for it.

Standing Up For Herself:


Sharing a post reading, "Nobody watches you harder than the people that can't stand you," the "Toxic" singer started her lengthy message by writing, "I’ve read a lot of things online of people criticizing my posts …. saying I post the same 15 pictures with the same red background and wearing the same white bathing suit." She then explained why she keeps sharing the same pictures. "For me I get really excited about my posts …. and I like to share them with you all !!!! I’ve never owned a white bathing suit before and I simply liked the red background!!!!"

Trolls Are Hurting Her Feelings:


Britney Spears told her followers that "reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings" then warned them, "I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know .… this goes for bullying anyone really!!!" That's when the pop princess brought Coronavirus into the argument saying, "Hard times like we are currently living through should really teach us to be nice to one another …. !!!!!! " But that wasn't all, the "Gimmie More" also addressed those who were offended by her recent horse riding throwback.

" I saw some people were offended by me posting about horses yesterday …. I am truly sorry if I offended anyone," she apologized. "I think it’s important to see things that bring happiness during hard times and making light of a situation can sometimes help people!!!!" Although Britney Spears feels sad over her cyberbullies, she wants everyone to know she still has compassion for them. "I love you all …. stay safe …. and be nice !!!!!" she wrote. Britney Spears was crowned the queen of quarantine last week when she first posted about Coronavirus and her latest message shows she won't be silenced even behind closed doors.
