Britney Spears has many of her fans very confused after she claimed on Instagram that she just ran a 100-meter dash in under six seconds. The problem is...the fastest human in the world can't run it that fast. So...

Britney posted a screengrab that appears to be from her Fitbit or from a treadmill, and it reads 5.97. But, just by looking at it, it is not clear how far she ran, or what the numbers mean. But, then the pop star included this caption which has many of her fans concerned.

Britney's Fans Quickly Point Out It Isn't Humanly Possible...

"Is your distance correct? Lol Usain Bolts world record time for 100m dash is 9.58 seconds," one fan pointed out. Adding, "Usain Bolt doesn’t even run the 100m this fast..."

For the record, Bolt set his record at the IAAF Athletics Championship in Berlin in 2009.

The part that is even more confusing is Britney's boyfriend Sam Asghari, who commented on the post, saying, “Amazing let’s get this thing started!”

Another good point made by a few fans of the pop star is that she just broke her foot a few months ago. As we reported, Spears was hospitalized after suffering the injury while dancing...she even shared a video where you hear it pop!

How Far And Fast Did You Run? Fans Confused...

"How far did you run I am confused Britney explain," one person asked hoping to get clarification of the post.

Others just simply stated, "the fastest 100-meter dash is 9.58 seconds. there’s no way your faster than the fastest time by 4 seconds."

Several of Britney's die-hard fans ignored the discrepancy and just pumped her up by posting, “queen of world records” and "queen of rounding down."
