Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' ex-husband, is not concerned about leaving their two kids with the singer, who is currently under a conservatorship.

Spears has been seeing her sons, Jayden and Sean, per their agreement after the divorce. Federline was awarded custody of the kids in September 2019 for 70 percent of the time, while Spears gets to see them for 30 percent of the time.

TMZ cites sources that say Federline is not worried when the boys are in Spears' care, despite the fact that she has been in a conservatorship for several years now.

TMZ says that Federline is also not concerned by the Free Britney movement that's been reignited lately.

Some fans of Spears say she is being held against her will, and sometimes sends cryptic messages through the photos she posts online.

@britneys_bitxh tweeted out some of what FreeBritney stans believe, including that she's rightfully due all the money she earned from her recording and touring career.

"Britney Spears has a net worth of over $600 MILLION. — She pays Kevin Federline $30k a month for child support but she is only allowed $1500 per week which is about $6k a month. GIVE BRITNEY SPEARS ALL OF HER HARD EARNED MONEY BACK. #FreeBritney #FreexBritney"

While they agree on child care issues, Spears' and Federline's relationship has always been under scrutiny.

Federline, who was formerly a backup dancer for Justin Timberlake, and Spears divorced in 2007, nearly three years after they got married. The two tied the knot only three months after meeting.

At the time of their marriage, Federline had recently ended his relationship with Shar Jackson, who was pregnant with their second child.

Spears' mental health has been a continuing issue throughout her adult life.

In 2008, Spears had a mental health breakdown while at her LA home. She was placed in a 5150 psychiatric hold and brought to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Around that time, Federline was given full custody of the kids until Spears' health was back to normal.

Then she was placed under a temporary conservatorship of her father, James Spears, and attorney Andrew Wallet. The conservatorship later became permanent.

Last year, when Jamie Spears had to step back from the conservatorship to take care of some health issues that were reportedly "life-threatening, Spears said she was checking in to an "all-encompassing wellness treatment facility."

Federline supported her decision.

According to ET, Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan:

“Kevin commends Britney for recognizing that she needs to take a step back and that she is taking reasonable steps to dealing with her situation in a responsible way. He wishes everyone well."
